Renato Quaglia

Renato Quaglia is an organisation expert with longstanding hands-on experience in the performing arts, especially with regards to the training and education of young performers and the contemporary theatre.

He has held posts in this sector in France, Belgium and Italy.

In 1999 he was called to set up and direct the new dance, music and theatre sector of the Venice Biennale, which he has been directing ever since.

Since 2002 his responsibilities include the organisational management of the International Art and Architecture Exhibitions.

Since 2005 he collaborates with the Italian Ministry of the Economy’s National Development and Economic Cohesion Policy Department.
