Art Fairs? Impressive

I have just arrived at the Arco Art Fair in  Madrid.

Have you ever visited an art fair? If the answer is no, then DO IT! You will enter a never-seen-before world.
An art fair is more than a solo exposition or one artist’s performance. It is a “cosmo” around which several artists,  galleries, interests, hopes and emotions frantically revolve.

This is the third year that I am attending the Spanish international art fair, and every time it is a new experience; a sort of incredible spectacle hits my eyes and reach deeply my soul.  It is like a great circus where 3.000 artists are performing in the same moment.

As soon as I arrive, each time it takes a moment to grasp the whole, but,  suddenly, everything seems clear to me. Then I understand where I have to go to  find the best known artists and galleries. And finally I start recognizing them.

I’ve worked with most of them in the past; I remember, for example,  Marina Abramovich’s performance, when she offered the spirit of coffee to the New Museum of New York’s visitors  some years ago. The spirit passed through the hole of an illy cup.

While walking through the pavillions,  I stop in front of  Tomory Dodges’s work, and a question come up to my mind: will he become the expression of the third  millennium?
All bets are on.

Hi Erwin. Yes, you’re right! I’ve heard she’s going to have the exhibition @MoMa for three months only, and during this time she’ll express with a her performance.
